Carry-le-Rouet is a seaside resort on the Côte Bleue, in the Bouches-du-Rhône department. There are many water sports activities, especially in the surrounding creeks which are part of the Côte Bleue Marine Park, a protected area created in 1983 which stretches from Martigues in the west to Rove in the east. Between sea kayaking, stand up paddle or boat trips, you have the choice to visit the calanques from the sea! You can also rent a bike if you prefer and go to discover the heights of Sausset-les-Pins where there is a climbing site. Climbing is also possible next to the Eaux Salées viaduct, offering a superb view of the sea and the Calanque des Eaux Salées, which is also clearly visible from the Chapelle du Rouet! Finally, skateboarders can also have fun in the city in the skatepark of Carry-le-Rouet.
