Soulac-sur-Mer is a city situated in the south of France, at the mouth of the Garonne, 100km from Bordeaux and less than 20km from Royan. It is also attached to the Côte d’Argent, a coast famous for its beauty and white sand beaches.

Soulac has been reputed since the 1860s for its bathing water, thus creating a seaside resort that, since has been classed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
