Kos is an island in the south eastern part of the Aegean Sea in Greece. The island is part of the Dodecanese island chain, and it’s the third biggest after Rhodes and Karpathos.
The main city of the island is Kos town, and the most famous villages in the island are Kardamena, Kefalos and Marmari where you can find fine accommodation. The harbour of Kos is the main port of the island, where you can find daily ferries to the biggest harbour in Greece, Piraeus, or connections to other island in the Aegean sea.
You can also fly to Kos from Athens, or many international airports. There are many activities that you can practice in the island like scuba diving, trekking, or windsurfing and kitesurfing.
Kos is an ideal island to practice all kind of water sports like kitesurfing and windsurfing. The sandy beaches, with the great "Meltemi" wind create the ideal conditions to go kitesurfing or windsurfing in the big blue Aegean Sea.
