Located between Anse-Bertrand to the north and Petit-Canal to the south, Port-Louis is the ideal starting point for jet ski excursions to the north of Grande-Terre or to the Grand Cul-de-sac marin nature reserve. From the sea, you can discover the Pointe de la Grande Vigie, at the top of Anse-Bertrand, or the various islets closing the Grand Cul-de-sac marin bay: the Caret islet, the Fajou islet, the Macou islet, etc. And if you wish to move around more calmly, sea kayaking or stand up paddle excursions are also possible from Port-Louis.

The waters around Port-Louis and the Grand Cul-de-sac marin are rich in biodiversity, so diving sessions to explore the seabed are highly recommended! Inland, the sugar cane fields dominate the landscape: take a quad bike or buggy ride from Petit-Canal for more fun! You can also go around the Gaschet lake, the largest artificial lake in Guadeloupe.
