Victoria Falls: What to do when you get there?
Hunting for a sparkling destination for your next holidays in Africa? Look no further than Victoria Falls. Zimbabwe boasts more than just diamonds, and with many beautiful natural resources to visit, this is one of Zimbabwe’s most prized possessions.
The Victoria Falls
According to the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, this natural wonder has brought millions of tourists in 2018 alone. Victoria Falls moves five hundred million cubic meters of water per minute plunging into a rainforest gorge, and is considered one of the largest waterfalls in the world. Who wouldn’t have that on their bucket list?
The giant waterfall offers many different viewpoints. Take advantage of opportunities for awe-inspiring rafting trips down the Zambia river, where you can cross between the borders of the two countries and gaze up at the falls from far below. You can also see the falls by air via helicopter.
A day of magnificent sight-seeing and exciting activities would leave anyone hungry and in need of some rest; plus you’re on vacation after all! Victoria Falls has hotel and spa options for budgets of any size. Whatever your desire- there’s a lodge that will deliver. From pools and fine dining, to luxury spas and all-inclusive resorts, Victoria Falls offers visitors any and all of the conveniences they need.
To those of you whose fire we haven’t yet lit, don’t worry, there is more to do in Victoria Falls. If you’re looking for alternative and thrilling activities, you can find more things to do here- for example, jumping off of a cliff (attached to a bungee of course). Or If you’re a water baby, you may even enjoy swimming with crocodiles in the river !
