Levi is a popular ski resort located in Finnish Lapland, situated in the north of the country close to the Arctic Circle. During the winter months, the diverse landscapes and forests turn into a white wonderland with snowy and icy conditions. This ultimate experience combines two of the most exclusive experiences to try when in Lapland - ice karting and snowmobiling!

The adventure begins by meeting your guide at the starting point in Levi (pick-up is available within a 10km radius, please specify when booking). This tour is perfect for beginners and advanced riders alike! You will start with a safety briefing and snowmobile driving instructors, before receiving your Arctic gear and equipment. Snowmobiles will be shared between two, with one driver and one passenger and the chance to switch during the route.

Following the experienced guide, you will set off snowmobiling through the Lappish forests. The route will take you along some of the best nature sights in Levi, passing by valleys, snowy trees and lakes. Soon you will arrive at a professional ice kart track. Here, you will receive safety instructions again before getting set up in your kart. Feel the adrenaline as you speed off around the ice track! After your ice-karting adventure, you will return to the starting point in Levi.

This combination of snowmobiling and ice-karting is a thrilling way to experience the natural beauty of Levi in Lapland!

Practical information

For this tour, each snowmobile is shared between two, with one driver and one passenger and the opportunity to switch.

Course of events

- Meet at the starting point in Levi or pick-up from listed location

- Safety briefing and snowmobile driving lesson

- Receive Arctic gear and equipment

- The snowmobiling adventure begins!

- Drive through the snowy forest for approximately 1 hour

- Arrive at the ice kart track

- Safety instructions for ice karting

- The ice karting adventure begins!

- Ice kart for approximately 30 minutes

- Return to the starting point

- Transfer back to pick-up point in Levi

Activity requirements

Snowmobile drivers must hold a valid driver's license (category B). Please bring the original document with you on the day of the activity.

Participants must be at least 150cm / 4'9" for the ice karting activity.

Please be ready for collection 60 minutes prior to the activity start time.

The pick-up is not always at the reception of the hotel and may require you to walk a few minutes from the hotel. In addition, pick-up times may vary. Please check your emails after booking for further instructions.

In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid driver’s license (class B) is required. A provisional license or a picture of the driving license won’t be accepted. The driving license must be recognizable in English. If you do not bring your driving license you won’t be able to drive a snowmobile and no refund can be offered.

The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a maximum personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour.
