Levi is a popular ski resort destination located in northern Finland, close to the Arctic Circle. The area is known for its stunning scenery during the winter months, with snowy landscapes, forest trails and mountains. Snowmobiling is a great activity to discover the area off the beaten track!

The adventure begins at the meeting point in Levi (pick-up is available from specified locations upon booking). Your experienced guide will provide safety instructions about operating the snowmobile. Each snowmobile will be shared between two people, with one person driving and one passenger and the chance to switch during the tour. Beginners and families are welcome, the children will sit in a comfortable sled under warm blankets and be pulled by the guide's snowmobile. Once you are prepared, the excursion begins!

The group sizes are small and the speed and length of the safari depends on the ability of the participants. The guide will adapt the tour and lead the way through the snowy landscape. Due to the dramatic topography, a reduced speed is held during parts of the tour. You will love the thrilling excitement of snowmobiling through snowy forests and the beautiful nature of Levi's Lapland. The snowmobile trail will take you to the most beautiful places in this remote area! After driving for approximately 1 hour, you will return to the starting point in Levi.

Practical information

For this tour, each snowmobile is shared between two, with one driver and one passenger and the opportunity to switch.

For safety reasons, children under 13 years old will sit in a sled pulled by the guide's snowmobile. It is recommended that an adult also sits in the sled with smaller children.

Course of events

- Meet at the starting point in Levi or pick up from the listed location

- Safety briefing and snowmobile driving lesson

- Receive Arctic gear and equipment

- The snowmobiling adventure begins!

- Drive through the snowy forest for approximately 1 hour

- Return to the starting point

- Transfer back to pick-up point in Levi

Activity requirements

Snowmobile drivers must hold a valid driver's license (category B). Please bring the original document with you on the day of the activity.

Participants must be at least 140cm / 4'6" to sit on the sled as a passenger. Children who meet this height requirement can sit as a passenger when paying the adult price.

Please note that although the activity duration is 3 hours, the snowmobiling time is 1 hour.
