5-day Snowmobile Safari from Levi to Mehamn, Finnmark

Mehamn is a small village on the northern coast of Norway, located in the Finnmark region. On this snowmobile excursion in Mehamn, you'll travel from Levi, one of Finland's largest and most popular ski resorts, situated in Finnish Lapland.

For this excursion, you can choose to start in Mehamn or Levi. The snowmobiling adventure in Finnmark begins with pick-up from Mehamn Airport or Levi Airport. If you start from Levi, you'll meet your experienced guide and get set up with your snowmobiling equipment and clothing. After a quick safety briefing and driving instructions, you'll begin driving your snowmobile through the Finnish wilderness.

Over 5 days, you'll travel across the Nordkyn Peninsula, located in the far northeastern part of Norway, in Finnmark, known for being the northernmost point of mainland Europe. The peninsula extends into the Barents Sea and is renowned for its rugged, dramatic landscapes, remote wilderness, and harsh Arctic climate. You'll feel like a true Arctic explorer as you travel across breathtaking landscapes, passing mountains, fjords, and canyons.

Each night, you'll stay in guest houses and comfortable cottages in Finland and Norway. The guide will teach you about life in Lapland and the Arctic north. In the evenings, you may also be treated to the incredible Northern Lights, due to the proximity to the Arctic Circle. On the last day of the snowmobile safari in Finnmark, you'll arrive in Mehamn, where you'll stay in a lodge at Adventure Camp Mehamn.

The lodge is equipped with a hostel with 16 beds, parking spaces, a small marina where you can rent boats, outdoor recreational areas, saunas, showers, hot tubs, a restaurant, and room service. You'll spend your night in luxury in this remote fishing village, experiencing the peace and tranquillity of Finnmark. You can also choose to do the snowmobile safari from Mehamn to Levi, and spend the first night in the lodge. At the end of the unforgettable snowmobile expedition from Levi to Mehamn (or Mehamn to Levi), you'll be transferred back to Mehamn Airport or Levi Airport.
