Sakalava Bay: What to do when you get there?
Sakalava Bay is situated approximately 20 km from Antsiranana, also known as Diego Suarez. It is the third biggest port on the island of Madagascar.
The bay offers exceptional conditions, essentially for extreme sports such as kitesurfing and windsurfing. The following characteristics make the spot the coveted haven it is today, shallow water (1 metre when the tide is out) and warm, transparent water that ranges between 24 and 32°C.
A sandy seabed provides you with a safe environment notably for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced water sports fan, Sakalava Bay has both flat water and waves, for those of you who really want to get the adrenaline rushing!
