Santorini is a Greek island located in the southern Aegean Sea, with a very long history. But then, tragedy struck again with a terrible earthquake and a volcanic eruption that followed in 1956. The island found itself declining and inhabitants were few, until the arrival of the tourism industry in the 1970s, which changed everything.
