If you've never tried scuba diving and want to discover if you like it or not, this first dive will allow you to experience it in the beautiful waters of Tarifa.
The experienced and certified PADI instructors of YellowSub Tarifa will teach you in half a day the most important rules of diving. You'll do some training in confined waters (pool) before getting into the sea and reaching 12 metres deep.
What will you learn?
In a theoretical briefing and a short online course, you will learn all the practical information about your first dive, like certain techniques to be able to breathe and move underwater, and how to use the scuba diving equipment, among other very useful things like how to do some basic scuba diving exercises and some comprehensive safety protocols.
After that, you´ll get into the water, and practice everything you´ve learned in a safe environment (at a depth of around 1 meter), here you will have your very first experience with diving and already will be able to tell whether you like it or not, though you will still not get the wonderful marine views you came for.
That comes after all the initial training, when you will grab a boat and head out into the sea, located in the Gibraltar Stretch, where your mentors will take you to the Isla de las Palomas, to find a spot where you can finally sink around 8 to 9 meters and get that first dive you've been waiting for.
With expert divers and in the beautiful sea in the Gibraltar Stretch, where the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet, there's no better place to explore scuba diving!
