Buried beneath an active volcano, the famous Dragon Glass Caves of the Myrdalsjokull Glacier are a unique glacial formation renowned for its iconic blue ice. Cross the landscape of Iceland's southern coast in a super jeep to the cave entrance for an immersive guided tour of these ice caverns.
On arrival at the meeting point, you will meet your guide who will accompany you on this tour of Katla Ice Cave. He will explain how the activity works and the safety instructions to be followed. You will then set off by jeep, crossing magnificent mountains and glaciers to reach the Dragon's glass caves.
Equipped with crampons, you'll head underground and learn more about these unique caves and how they got their unique blue colour... Don't forget to bring your camera to capture these magnificent and unique landscapes.
