Learn how to kitesurf with a 7-day kite camp in Theologos, Rhodes. Lessons for beginners and advanced kitesurfers are included in this package.

Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese islands in Greece and is also one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. The island is situated in the southeastern Aegean Sea, surrounded by crystal-clear waters. This kite camp is located in Theologos, a village on the western coast of Rhodes.

For this kite camp, you can choose from a beginner or advanced course. To start, you'll be picked up from the airport in Rhodes and transported to the camp in Theologos. The package includes 7 nights of accommodation in a shared room in a traditional-style stone-built farmhouse situated in the nature reserve of the valley of butterflies. All of the apartments in the guest house are equipped with a common kitchen for cooking and gatherings, a fridge, air-conditioning, internet and a television. On the grounds, you'll also find a beautiful garden full of olive trees with a hammock, BBQ facilities, and an outdoor gym.

During your stay, you'll have access to all the facilities of the camp, as well as the use of a bicycle. Each day will begin with a delicious Mediterranean breakfast under the shade of an olive tree, followed by a drive to the kite centre at Theologos Beach. Here, the certified kitesurfing instructors will greet you with all of the equipment (full kite, wetsuit, and shoes). You'll go through a safety briefing and prepare for the lessons!

The beginner course includes 12 hours of lessons, with approximately 2-3 hours per day. No previous experience is needed, you'll learn all of the basics. Over the course of the week, you'll learn controlled stop, control of riding speed by edging, riding upwind, sliding transitions, toe-side riding and turn, self-launching, and self-rescue. Theologos Beach provides excellent conditions for kitesurfing with magnificent views of the Mediterranean. After each day, you'll receive some homework.

The advanced course includes 6 hours of private lessons, so you can improve your skills and receive personalised attention. You must have previous kitesurfing experience to participate in this option. During the lessons, you will learn and practice basic jump, jibe, jump with grab, rider recovery, and board recovery, as well as some theory such as international kiteboarding signs and ROW, equipment, weather and tides, and aerodynamics. On the days with no wind, side activities such as yoga, stand up paddling and mountain biking will be arranged.

During your free time, you can relax on the beach, where you have access to showers, WiFi, and cold drinks. Meals are not included, but you can use the cooking facilities at the camp or try one of the Greek restaurants at the beach. On one of the nights, a traditional Greek BBQ meal will be included in the evening, which you'll enjoy on the beach while admiring the mesmerising sunset. At the end of the course, you'll receive your IKO certification. Return transport to the airport in Rhodes is also included.

This 7-day kite camp for beginners or advanced riders is an unforgettable opportunity to learn how to kitesurf while staying at a beautiful location in Theologos on the island of Rhodes!
