Explore the eastern side of Kythnos Island in the company of an experienced guide on this fun-filled sea kayaking adventure! Beginners and seasoned kayakers alike are welcome!
Situated in the Aegean Sea, beautiful Kythnos Island (also known as Thermia) is Cycladic, which means that there has been a human presence on the island since the Bronze Age. Known for its crystal-clear blue waters, fascinating rock formations, and storied culture, Kythnos also boasts many stunning beaches.
This 4-5-hour excursion begins at Episkopi Beach, where you'll meet your experienced and friendly guide/instructor. After a safety briefing, they will provide some basic paddling and kayaking techniques. Once you stowed away your belongings in a dry bag and put on your life jacket, the adventure begins! You'll make your way toward Agios Stefanos, then head north to some of the best and most remote beaches on Kythnos which are only accessible by sea, Agios Ioannis and Vasilikο.
There, you'll relax, enjoy a delicious lunch, and take a refreshing dip. You can also try snorkelling, which is one of the best ways to see the area's diverse aquatic species.
