During the diving excursions, you will go to places that only a few have the chance to visit! You are going to see wonderful underwater creatures, fascinating scenery, rock configurations, corals and you will relish the breezy crystal water.
After a briefing with the experienced instructors, they’ll supply you with the necessary equipment and introduce you to all you need to know to make the most out of this experience.

What will you learn?

Aqua Team is a PADI diving center. That means that all the instructors are PADI certified and they follow the education system of PADI to teach you in a short period of time how to dive best. Of course, what you aim to learn is how to dive to depths of 6 meters and how to use breathing equipment.

• You will learn the safety guidelines when diving, and how to use hand signals to communicate with other divers.
• You will learn how to use the equipment and gear.
• You will find out how it feels to be underwater for almost an hour, breathing normally and exploring the quiet marine life.

Where will you be diving?

The first and perhaps most important dive spot in Kythnos is "Agios Sostis". In Agios Sostis you can find many different types of dives, and dives that have been specifically chosen for beginner divers.

The “South Wall”, at a depth of 5-22 meters, has many kinds of fish and a very nice and colorful seascape. It is the beach where novice divers and students enjoy their first experience in the shallow waters. You will be in the company of wrasses, breams, common soles, red mullets and often cuttlefish and schools of damselfish.

“Vouvoxera” (Silent Reef) is quite interesting - a reef swarming with life. Weather permitting, divers of all levels can enjoy phenomenal experiences. The number of fish is infinite. Black, white, red and all kinds of color, size and type are here. Big dusky and golden groupers prevail in the northern side “The Temple”, and among the amphora the colors of our sea. Rays, saddled breams, and others as you head south, towards the great single rock. You will then start to ascend and wander among plenty of pearly razorfish, scorpionfish, young dusky groupers and big triton shells.
