Located in La Palud-sur-Verdon, between Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and Castellane, the via cordata of the Trou du Renard (Fox Hole) offers a superb climbing course in the Verdon gorges. Perched 200 meters above the Verdon river on limestone cliffs, this via cordata is an itinerary built with ropes, unlike the via ferrata made up of metal cables.

Under the supervision of an experienced instructor, you will cross the via cordata of the Trou du Renard in about 2.5 hours according to your rhythm and your ease. Various fun and entertaining obstacles await you throughout the activity: jumps, abseils, one of which is 20 meters high, but also a 40 meters long zip line! The via cordata of the Trou du Renard is a very aerial course in the Verdon gorges: the experience is therefore not recommended for people with vertigo.

Practical information

Course of events

- Meeting with the instructors in La Palud-sur-Verdon

- Drive to the starting point of the via cordata of the Trou du Renard

- Equipment and safety briefing

- Approximately 2.5 hours of the via cordata of the Trou du Renard with, among other things, a zip line, jumps and abseils (the first one is done with the help of the instructors, while the following ones can be done independently)

- End of the course, de-equipping and debriefing

People suffering from vertigo are not advised to participate in this activity.

A minimum number of 3 participants is required for this activity to take place.

Activité assez physique et qui nous sort de la zone de confort rapport au vide et vertige mais paysages à couper le souffle et sensation de surpassement de soi gratifiante.

Expérience très diversifiée. On a fait 2 rappels dont un en autonomie (très bien expliqué par le moniteur), un petit saut a la tarzan (très marrant) et le moniteur a bien freiné la descente en tyrolienne. Possibilité par de rares moments de prendre des photos et vidéos. Malgré les 2h30 de parcours, en pleine après-midi, on a pas souffert de la chaleur (equipé de bouteilles d eau).
