The Vercors Regional Nature Park is a vast natural area away from the glare of the big cities, making it the ideal place for stargazing near Grenoble. Starting before sunset, you will head off into the Vercors mountain range for a walk on the theme of astronomy, a field in which the mountain guide accompanying you is passionate.

For 2.5 to 3 hours, you will have the pleasure of walking through the Vercors at night and admiring the exceptionally clear starry sky near Grenoble. Your guide will not only introduce you to astronomy, but will also tell you a few myths that will have young and old alike dreaming.

Whether you are interested in the stars, planets and constellations, or simply looking for an outing like no other near Grenoble, this astronomy discovery walk in the Vercors Regional Nature Park will delight everyone!

Practical information

Course of events

- Meeting with the instructor in front of the tourist office in Lans-en-Vercors

- Drive to the hiking area in your own vehicle

- Start of the 2.5 to 3 hours outing in the Vercors Nature Regional Park (100 metres of ascent and descent)

- Return to vehicles and end of the outing

Activity requirements

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the activity.

A minimum number of 4 participants is required for this activity to take place.

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. A written parental authorisation is required for minors between 14 and 18 years old to take part in this activity.

Once your booking is completed, please contact the instructor to confirm the meet-up time for your activity.
