Tandem skydiving in Rodez, Aveyron

Combine thrills and beautiful scenery with a tandem skydiving experience in Aveyron.

This parachute jump will allow you to discover the thrill of freefall in the safest possible conditions. Your instructor, a professional skydiver, will welcome you at the Rodez airfield. During a briefing, your instructor will explain the equipment, how the activity works and the safety instructions.

After a 15-minute training session on the ground, you'll learn the rudiments of free-fall positioning, the actions to be taken under canopy and then on landing... the plane will climb to an altitude of 3500 meters in 20 minutes. During the ascent, you'll enjoy a panoramic view of the Aveyron countryside and the Aubrac and Grands Causses regional parks.

At last, the adventure begins!
Once you've reached the right altitude, the instructor will open the plane's door, and that's when you'll jump into the void for a 40-second freefall at around 200 km/h! The instructor will then open the parachute for a 5-minute ride around Rodez. An exceptional view awaits you, with the Millau Viaduct and the rolling Aveyronnais countryside in the background on a clear day.
