The perfect way to enjoy a friendly group activity while getting in some physical exercise, this sporty descent of the Argence canyon in Aubrac will give you a fun-filled time in the heart of nature. Whether you're with family or friends, you'll appreciate the varied experience offered by this guided activity lasting around 3.5 hrs in the heart of Aveyron.

The descent of the Argence canyon lasts around half a day and is accessible to anyone in good physical condition and able to swim, from the age of 14. On the program: sensational abseiling descents (one of them around a half-turn!), jumps between 6 and 8 meters high, swimming passages, an 8-meter-long slide and the famous "zip slide", a mix of zip line and slide! The Argence canyon offers you an intense sporting outing, but all the challenges can be avoided if you wish, except for the 15-metre abseil.

Throughout the activity, a state-qualified guide will be there to accompany you and ensure your safety: he will welcome you, give you an introductory briefing and then accompany you into the Argence canyon. Quality equipment will also be provided to ensure an enjoyable canyoning experience.

Course of events

- Arrival at Escale Verticale

- Shuttle bus to starting point where you will be equipped (3 km)

- Approach walk: 5 minutes

- Briefing on the activity and safety rules

- Guided canyoning activity (approx. 3h)

- Return walk: 30 to 50 minutes to the shuttle (depending on how tired the group is)

Activity requirements

All participants must be able to swim autonomously.

Special terms

For an additional €15, Escale Verticale will fix a waterproof camera/camcorder to your helmet so you can take photos and make a video throughout your adventure, which will be transferred onto a memory card and given to you before you leave.
