In Auzat and Illier-et-Laramade near Tarascon-sur-Ariège, Montcalm Aventure's instructors invite you to try your hand at climbing in the Ariège Pyrénées. Whether indoors or outdoors on natural sites, you will enjoy a 3 hours introductory lesson during which you will discover the pleasures of climbing in complete safety. A total of 3 different courses are available for rock climbing in Ariège:

Introduction to indoor climbing - From the age of 5, this course lets you climb all year round on a 14 meters high indoor wall with slabs, a vertical wall and a slight overhang;

Introduction to outdoor rock climbing - From the age of 5, this course takes place on a natural site, the Auzat cliff, climbing to the height of your choice between 5 and 30 meters;

Introduction to bouldering - From age 6, this course offers the pleasure of rock climbing outdoors with only a helmet and climbing shoes as equipment, as well as a crashpad on which you can fall safely.

Each of these courses offers completely different climbing sensations: all you have to do is choose the one that suits you best to discover rock climbing in Ariège in the best possible way!
