Snowmobile Excursion through Lapland from Rovaniemi

This exciting excursion takes place from Rovaniemi, the capital city of Finnish Lapland. The beautiful area is known for its vast wilderness, with snowy forests, hills and lakes. Snowmobiling is an enjoyable way to discover the unique nature of Rovaniemi, as it allows you to reach more remote areas.

The day starts by meeting your guide in Rovaniemi (pickups are available upon booking), who will then drive you to a nearby area called Olleronvaara. There you will be kitted with warm winter gear and receive a safety briefing on how to drive a snowmobile as well as some necessary safety precautions. The snowmobiles are locally produced, BRP Lynx Rave and Xtrim models. This model is extremely comfortable to drive and is gentle to the environment. You have the option to drive as a solo driver, or as a pair, with one driver and one passenger and the opportunity to switch halfway. Once you are set up on your comfortable snowmobile, the adventure begins!

On this tour, you will go on an excursion into the pristine forests surrounding the area. The aim is to drive a bit faster and get off the beaten tracks for a while. However, your safety and comfort is the most important thing and the guide will adapt the driving speed and mode to the participants’ abilities. After a packed drive where you will discover the beauty of the Lappish forest, you'll return to Olleronvaara and take the bus back to the centre of Rovaniemi.
