You will start by meeting the adorable huskies and receiving a safety briefing and driving lesson for dog sledding. Each sled will be shared by 2 adults, with a team of 4-6 huskies. There will be an opportunity to switch drivers midway through the excursion.

Once the sled is all set up, you will set off into the taiga forest surrounding the kennels. The dogs will pull your sled through the remote trails just north of Rovaniemi and the Arctic Circle. Enjoy the silence of this secluded location as you mush your own dog team. You will ride for approximately 30 - 40km during the tour. Midway through, you will break to build a warm campfire. Hot drinks and a delicious lunch will be served, while you take in the stillness of the natural environment. Your guide will share insights about the history of the region. You will then head back to the dog kennels and say goodbye to your new furry friends!
