Huskies need to be prepared for the winter, they are not naturally fit, so joining them on this cart tour helps the dogs conditioning before the tough winter season.

Your tour starts with your guide giving you a short briefing. Once you got familiar with everything, the ride can start! The super enthusiastic dogs will happily take you down a 4 km forest trail for an unforgettable huskies cart ride.

After the ride, you will visit their kennels to see how the dogs are prepared to be the amazing athletes they are. You are going to get to know the friendly dogs, how they live, play and stay together, and enjoy some time with them.

Please be aware, that for animal welfare reasons, the husky cart rides are only offered when the temperature is 10 degrees celsius or colder.

Practical information

Program time is 2.5 hours. Additional transfer time is approximately 1 hour.

The price already includes transfers from/to Rovaniemi, and therefore pick-up is recommended. You can be picked up from most hotels in the center of Rovaniemi, Santa Claus Village and Ounasvaara.
