Practical information

Course of events

The day begins with a meeting at the Expediciones camp base. The instructor will explain the instructions to you and check the group equipment. Once everything is set, you will be ready to go to the starting point of the excursion; you can either walk or take your car to go there.

A typical day of canyoning lasts between 6 and 8 hours, depending on the chosen itinerary. You will begin with a short walk (from 5 minutes to 2 hours, it depends on your ability to catch up). After a few hours of walking you will have lunch next to a natural pool or on a nice spot.

After the lunch break, you will go abseiling down 30 meters. The rhythm of the activity is quite relaxed; you will have either 3 or 5 hours left. This will be the perfect time to play a few water games, or jump from 10 meters high, to slide on natural slides and to swim in natural Jacuzzis and waterfalls. Following these recreational breaks, you will make your way back to the base camp.

Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.
