Family Snowmobile and Sled Ride Adventure from Akureyri

- Drive to the starting point in the highlands

- Receive snowmobiling equipment (helmet, overalls, gloves)

- Safety briefing and instructions

- The snowmobiling and sled ride adventure begins!

- Take turns riding/driving the snowmobile and being towed in the sled

- Stop for breaks

- Enjoy snacks and hot drinks

- Return to the starting point

- Return drive to the original pick-up point in Akureyri

Snowmobile drivers must hold a valid driver's license. Please bring the physical copy with you on the day of the activity.

Children and those without a license can ride on the snowmobile as a passenger.

For this excursion, participants will take turns riding on two snowmobile or a sled. Snowmobiles will be shared between two participants, with one driver and one passenger. A sled will be attached to the snowmobile by a rope for participants to ride on.

Pick-up is included from your accommodation in Akureyri, please specify your location when booking. If you prefer to meet at the starting point in Akureyri, the exact location will be communicated a few days before the tour (it varies due to snow conditions).
