Practical information
Several possible routes on this Via Ferrata for all levels.
Les Baumes du Verneau dominate the village of Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne. You get a dramatic view over the green, wood, walls, in a calm and quiet environment. In the distance, you can admire the Saracen porch where river Lizon takes its source.
1st part of "conditionning": about 10 m horizontally and 2 rope bridges to return to the ground via a tree.
Part 2: attack on a short wall, crossing to the left along the cavity.
Then a small vertical projection on top of which you'll find a loophole.
Ascending traverse to the right and then slightly long horizontal traverse down to the end.
This second part ends with a spur without difficulty.
You then continue on a trail in the woods with a small, easy projection, the "ressaut du chamois".
A horizontal ledge (narrow terrace on the wall of a mountain) takes you to the 3rd part.
Part 3: the big climb! A continuous line of bars on 30-40 meters with some very slightly overhanging passages.
At the summit you begin the downhill trail to the village. Well marked and equipped.
Down, down to a small projection, and you arrive at the foot of the "ressaut du Chateau".
Children must be aged at least 9 years old to participate and be over 1m20 height. Parental consent is required if they are not accompanied.
Participants must not suffer from vertigo (not to be confused with the fear of heights, which your instructors will teach you to overcome).
