Practical information
This initiation course in kayaksurfing is particularly suitable for people with disabilities.
In tandem with an instructor or on a single-seater board, surf independently and take to the waves like a pro! Throughout the activity, you'll be accompanied by a certified instructor.
- Contact the instructor directly to discuss your disability and establish the optimum conditions for the session (equipment, wave height, etc.).
- Meet the instructor at the lifeguard station, who will take you down to the beach in a buggy with your equipment (bag, wheelchair, etc.).
- Welcome at the All Water hut on the beach
- Allocation of small equipment and presentation of equipment: wetsuit, lycra, paddle, kayaksurf
- Journey to the water's edge (by seahorse if necessary)
- Briefing by the instructor at the water's edge
- Lessons: catching waves in tandem with the instructor, or in a single-seater kayaksurf. Advice on positioning and catching waves
- Return to the welcome hut with equipment and instructor
- Return of small equipment: wetsuit and lycra
- Discuss your experience with the instructor or receptionist
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please arrive 30 minutes before the departure time.
The hut is equipped with a PRM access mat, an accessible terrace and changing room, as well as a Hippocampe wheelchair for access to the water. From the car park at the top of the dune, access to the beach and the hut is provided by the lifeguard buggy.
This activity is not accessible for pregnant people, babies and pets.
