Practical information
- Pick-up at your accommodation in Tikehau or meeting directly at the Tikehau Diving centre
- Preparation of equipment and boarding of the boat
- Sail to the first snorkelling site, the old pearl farm where manta rays are usually found: launch with the guide (duration of the snorkelling session varies according to sea conditions and group level)
- Snack break at a local's house in the village next to the Tikehau Pass
- Head out to the ocean in search of dolphins to watch them, then back to the Tikehau Pass for a drift snorkelling session (only if the current in the pass "enters" the lagoon and sea conditions allow)
- Last snorkelling stop at the Coral Garden in Tikehau lagoon
- Return aboard the boat and debriefing of the adventure on the way back to the centre
- Packing up of equipment and return transfer for clients wishing to do so (excluding Hakamanu Lodge and Fafarua Lodge)
Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
A minimum number of 4 participants is required for this activity to take place.
Once your booking has been confirmed, please contact the instructor to plan the meet-up / pick-up time and place for your activity.
The transfer is included in the price if it takes place at the Le Tikehau By Pearl hotel, the Relais Royale Tikehau, the Ninamu Resort or one of the village guesthouses.
If you wish to be picked up and dropped off at Hakamanu Lodge or Fafarua Lodge, you will have to pay a supplement on site: 7,000 xpf per person for Hakamanu Lodge / 8,000 xpf per person for Fafarua Lodge.
