- Meet your guide at one of the listed pick-up points in Reykjavík (please specify when booking and see 'special terms')

- Minibus ride from Reykjavík

- Scenic transfer via minibus to the Sundhnjúkar Volcano

- Arrival

- Safety and itinerary briefing

- Receive crampons and headlamp (if needed)

- Hike towards the new eruption site of the Sundhnjúkar Volcano

- Break with Icelandic chocolate

- Return hike

- Transfer back the original meeting point in Reykjavík
