Practical information
A rafting trip of almost 2 hours awaits you in the Verdon gorges, in the heart of magnificent natural scenery!
Please allow a total of 3 hours for this activity
- Welcome at the Action Aventure base
- Participants' equipment at the cloakroom (wetsuit, life jacket, helmet)
- Departure by minibus to the rafting area
- Briefing on the activity
- Rafting down the Verdon (approx. 1h45)
- Raft back up to the minibus (about 15 minutes' walk uphill carrying the 80kg raft)
- Return to base by minibus
- Debriefing and de-equipping at the base
- End of the activity and opportunity to enjoy cold drinks at the base (not included in the price)
You must be able to swim (at least 25 metres) to take part in this activity.
You must not have any medical contraindications to rafting.
It is strongly recommended that you do not take any personal items such as jewellery, watches or wallet with you.
This activity depends on the weather and the EDF dam. If the planned water activity is not possible, Action Aventure will offer you an alternative water activity (rafting, canoe rafting or water trekking). You will not be able to refuse the replacement activity unless the reason is disability or some other factor that could prevent the activity from being changed.
You can obtain photos of your rafting trip from our partner photographer: Verdon photo.
Adrenalin-pumping itineraries are available in spring and September.
