3-hour quad bike ride to Volcanic Springs.
Departing from Reykjavik, you will cross an ancient lava field to the Hengill mountain range, the geothermal power station.
You'll then follow trails into the Instidalur valley.
In fine weather, you can see all the way from the volcanic Hengill region to the beach on the south coast and the Eyjafjallajökull glacier.

- View of Hengill and Eyjafjallajökull
- Return to the starting point and end of the activity
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
All drivers must have their driving license.
It's best to be comfortable riding an ATV if you want to take part in this tour.
Tracks are dependent on weather and trail conditions.
All hotels downtown are in a no-pick-up zone by the city. Therefore you will need to walk to the nearest bus stop. You can check www.busstop.is for available bus stops.
