4x4 excursion in Huahine, French Polynesia

Pick-up between 8.30 and 9 am, end of the excursion at 4 pm.

Planned stops

- Vanilla plantation
- Ancestral fish traps, unique in French Polynesia, in the village of Maeva
- Sacred eels with blue eyes in the village of Faie
- Viewpoint of Huahine Nui
- Maroe Bridge, linking Huahine Nui and Huahine Iti
- Marae Anini in the south of the island, in the district of Parea
- Panorama of Tefarerii with view on the lagoon and its multiple colors

Specific stops for the day

- Stop at the Pareo store "Passion of Pareo" hand painted
- Paddle and hook of the God Hiro
- Hunara'a Poe site and legend at Fitii (site legend)
- Visit to the "Shell Museum" (except weekends and holidays)

Depending on the weather and the time remaining, the day in the 4x4 will be enhanced by an introduction to rowing or basket and dish weaving, wreath making and some ori Tahiti (traditional dance) classes.
