Practical information
9:30 am: for departures from Bordeaux: meet in front of the Bordeaux Tourist Office in the centre of Bordeaux. It will take you 45 minutes to reach the village of St. Emilion by minibus.
10.15 am: For those joining the group in St. Emilion: meet in front of the Saint Emilion Tourist Office, next to the church.
10:30 am: Get on your electric bike! Head for Saint-Emilion on a 15 km ride through the vineyards that will take you past some of the most prestigious properties in the region. You will ride along châteaux such as Cheval Blanc, Petrus, as well as other magnificent 17th and 18th century châteaux.
12:00 pm: After a first electric bike ride through the vineyards, you will reach the first château, a charming property in the heart of the Saint-Emilion vineyards. You will start with a visit of the property followed by a picnic lunch in the garden of the château (or inside the château in case of rain).
1:30 pm: Guided tour of the charming medieval village of Saint-Emilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
3.30 pm: Visit and tasting in a Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion, a magnificent château located at the gateway to the UNESCO-listed village of Saint Emilion.
Enjoy explanations on the techniques of wine production, from the vine to the bottle, and taste the wines of the château.
After the visit, take your electric bike back to the minibus and the city of Bordeaux.
5 pm : End of the tour in Saint Emilion
6 pm : Return to Bordeaux
