* Please be advised that although the dogs are well-trained and love to run, teamwork is needed as drivers will have to help and push the sled together with the pack uphill and downhill. sled. The trail can be narrow and have sharp bends, which requires a good balance to steer the sled. The guides are entitled to deny drivers and passengers to join this tour for health and safety reasons.
* Additionally, be prepared for outdoor weather conditions which can be harsh and unpredictable during the Arctic winter. Temperatures often drop below freezing, with averages ranging from -10°C to -20°C.
For an 'easier' level of dog sledding, we highly advise the 'Beginner
Self-Drive Dog Sledding Safari from Tromsø'.
* Pregnant women (mid-late stage) are not advised to participate in the tour.
