Practical information
On this excursion, you'll depart from the Fonna Glacier Ski Resort and embark on a glacier hike on the Juklavass Glacier near Jondal.
- Arrive at the starting point at Fonna Glacier Ski Resort
- Meet the experienced guide and receive the equipment (mountain boots, crampons, ice axe, harness, helm, and rope)
- Safety briefing and instructions
- The glacier hiking adventure begins!
- Hike on the Juklavass Glacier
- Stop for lunch break
- Hike back to the starting point at Fonna Glacier Ski Resort
Total hiking distance: approximately 5-6 km / 3-4 mi (depending on weather conditions)
All participants must be in good health condition.
Children must have authorised permission from an adult.
Pick-up from Jondal is included for an additional 40 NOK. Please contact the instructor directly to arrange after booking.
