Surf lesson at Dunnet beach, Scotland

The surf lessons are based at Dunnet beach in Caithness (near Thurso).

You are guaranteed to catch some great waves because you are surrounded by Atlantic and North Sea swells all year. The northerly tip of the Scottish mainland is known for having the most consistent and high-quality waves, and Thurso is a world-class surfing destination.

Surfers of all levels, from complete beginners to professional wave riders, visit the Scottish coastlines. It's a sport that the whole family can enjoy, and it makes for a great active day on the water. You will be provided with everything you need, including wetsuits and boards. Surfing is an experience unlike any other; adrenaline rushes through your body, your heart rate rises, and endorphins, which make you happy, are released. Location

Dunnet Bay is a beautiful arc of white sandy beach backed by rolling sand dunes. The bay, which stretches for more than two miles, is relatively sheltered from the elements and provides excellent opportunities for sunbathing, paddleboarding, swimming, and other beach activities. The bay offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, and a visitor center at the north end provides information on what can be seen. The Dunnet beach gets perfect, consistent learner waves roll into its shores. The cliffs of Dunnet head over look these quiet sands, it really feels like you are surfing on the edge of the world.
