Join ACE Adventures for a full day of Grade 4/5 white water rafting on the River Findhorn in Scotland, cliff jumping included!
The spectacular Findhorn Valley is a serene getaway tucked in by elegant trees with footpaths leading to the banks of the wild River Findhorn. The River Findhorn is a natural river that runs year-round providing some of the best white water rafting Scotland has to offer. The river begins in the Monadhliath Mountains and flows northeast to Findhorn Bay eventually joining the sea in the Moray Firth. White water rafting on the lower section is possible in very low water conditions and is quite challenging! When the river floods, the upper section also offers a heart-pumping rafting experience!
ACE Adventure has over 30 years of experience in the area with River Guides that provide the most exciting experience possible! Upon your arrival, a guide will explain the safety precautions and what to expect out of your rafting trip. The section that you raft will depend on the water level and condition of that day. Do not worry, River Findhorn always has something exciting to offer, it is the fastest flowing river in Scotland! You will board a bus for a short trip to the starting point where you will practice on the water before hitting the rapids. The pace will really pick up once you make your way through Randolph's Leap where you will then tackle rapids and waterfalls! There will be a short break for a snack and a cliff jumping session for those willing to take the leap! The jumps span up to 30 feet. After the excursion is over, you will take a bus back to the ACE base where you can take advantage of drinks, snacks, and heated change rooms with showers.
Professional quality photos and videos will be taken and available to enjoy after your rafting adventure!
