Embark on a thrilling rigid inflatable boat (RIB) tour from Stockholm, exploring the beauty of the archipelago. Welcoming adventurers from ages 12 and up!

Stockholm is the capital city of Sweden, situated on the east coast of the Baltic Sea. While it is a bustling urban centre, Stockholm is also known for its abundant green spaces and clean environment. It is home to a magnificent archipelago consisting of thousands of islands, islets, and skerries, creating a stunning maritime landscape. On this RIB tour, you’ll explore this captivating natural wonder!

The adventure begins at the starting point in central Stockholm. The experienced guide will pick you up and go through a safety briefing. The group is usually small, with a maximum of 12 participants, for a personalised experience. You’ll be equipped with a life jacket, goggles, a hat and warm overalls (depending on the weather), before heading towards the Stockholm Archipelago on the sturdy inflatable boat!

As you sail across the water, you’ll pass some famous sites in Stockholm, such as The Old Town, Vasa Museum and the amusement park, Gröna Lund. After passing the island of Fjäderholmarna, the speed picks up to 42 knots (78 km/h) on a thrilling ride! You’ll head towards Vaxholm, the capital of the archipelago. The archipelago is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, characterised by rocky shores, dense forests, tranquil bays, and crystal-clear waters. It is also home to thousands of lush islands, both inhabited and uninhabited.

As you sail, the guide will share insights about the history of Stockholm and the archipelago. The route passes by historic sites and summer houses dating back to the 17th century. These summer houses are generally passed down from generation to generation and many never come out on the open market. You’ll pass by sailors and locals who live and vacation in the area. Finally, you will reach Vaxholm, a charming town known as the capital of Stockholm Archipelago, situated on the island of Vaxön. Many sailors come here to recuperate and gather supplies before heading back to sea. You’ll then return to the starting point in Stockholm.

Create unforgettable memories and learn more about the city of Stockholm and its magnificent and unique archipelago on an enjoyable guided RIB tour!
