Poyatos, an hour drive from Cuenca, is a small town north of the Serrania de Cuenca. There, the Poyatos Canyon awaits you for an amazing day of canyoning.

The Poyatos Canyon in Cuenca can be found in the northern side of the Serrania de Cuenca in the town of the same name. This canyon is one of the many amazing options the Cuenca regions has to offer in terms of canyoning. Warm waters with a mellow flow make it great for a canyoning intro.

The fact that the access to the canyon is almost immediate makes it perfect for a day of adrenaline! Just a 5 min. walk from the meeting point will take you to the entrance of the Poyatos and since you'll be supervised by Yurok Adventures' guides, you'll be in complete safety!

After meeting your guide at the Poyatos camping site, you'll get geared up with all necessary canyoning equipment including neoprene wetsuit and a helmet. There, you'll also be explained how your first canyoning experience will happen and all safety measures in order for you to stay safe. At the end of the experience, the vehicles will be ready to pick you up at the exit of the canyon.

A short hike towards the entrance of the canyon. You'll get ready to make your way down this amazing canyon by any means necessary. In canyoning, you'll need to walk, jump, slide, swim and even abseil down waterfalls so you can make it to the end!

The Poyatos Canyon will get the adrenaline flowing right from the start. An abseil will welcome you and from that moment on, you won't stop sorting out water slides, jumps and other abseils of up to 20 m.!
