Rising 133 meters above the sea, Pan di Zucchero is a natural stack on the southwest end of Sardinia. Located only 35 minutes away from Iglesias, you can explore the cliff thanks to an astonishing via ferrata. Follow a local guide on this incredible adventure!
First, your guide will greet you at the meeting point near Iglesias and brief you about the activity. You'll hop on a boat and enjoy a short 10-minute ride to the Pan di Zucchero stack. Once there, you'll wear a helmet and harness, you'll be ready to start this via ferrata adventure. As you climb up the "Minors's Path", you'll get incredible views over the coast and the transparent waters below. Once you reach the top via ferrata Pan di Zucchero, you’ll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views. At the top of this stack, you'll find an enjoyable walking area, making it the perfect spot to take amazing photos of the coastline. After resting on top of Pan di Zucchero, you and your guide will return to the boat by descending the same via ferrata.
If you wish, for an extra fee, it’ll be possible to abseil directly on the boat, without climbing back through the via ferrata Pan di Zucchero. You and your guide will say goodbye near Iglesias, where this experience had started.
