Sea kayaking excursion from Sesimbra

Sea kayaking in the Arrábida is the perfect way to sync with the natural environment. This way, you'll be in perfect harmony so you can observe, smell the aromas, touch and listen without disturbing the local biodiversity. The Arrábida region is one of Portugal's most beautiful natural areas with highlights such as the fishing town of Sesimbra and the Portinho da Arrábida coastline, which gathers some of Portugal’s most beautiful beaches.

In order to discover this stunning region, Canoagem has created 3 different excursions that will allow you to paddle along the coast and discover places that you couldn't otherwise! 2 half day itineraries and a full day itinerary will give a good overview of what the Arrábida is about.

The "Arrábida by Sea" sea kayak excursion will take you on a relaxing half day paddling all along the Arrábida coastline as you explore the Prof.Luiz Saldanha Marine Park and the beautiful biodiversity that it aims to protect!

If you rather explore the coastline of Sesimbra, then you can choose between the "Discovering Wild Sesimbra" half day or full day excursions. The half-day excursion will cover a big part of the coast west of Sesimbra, one of the biggest protected areas in Europe with an impressive biodiversity. The full-day excursion will follow the same route but going further west will allow you to take a break for lunch in one of the many secluded beaches!
