Riding classic bicycles, you will follow the north bank of the Douro River for around 45 minutes (11 km) to reach the indoor climbing centre waiting for you in Matosinhos. You will enjoy an hour of bouldering, whatever your level: even if you have never climbed before, you are welcome! At the end of the session, you will enjoy a leisurely lunch in the centre's restaurant before cycling back to Porto, the starting point of the excursion.

Practical information
A 5-hour excursion including a 1.5-hour bike ride, 1. hour of indoor climbing at the Proa Climbing Center and a lunch break in a vegetarian restaurant.
A few details about the easy cycling route:
- roads and cycle paths;
- 22 km (11 km one way + 11 km return);
- positive gradient of 31 metres and negative gradient of 29 metres.
- Meeting with the guide at the pillars of the Dom-Luis bridge on the Porto side
- Reception of bikes with a briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Departure for a 45-minute bike ride along the coast from Porto to Matosinhos to reach the indoor climbing centre
- On arrival at the indoor climbing centre, you will be given a briefing on the activity before setting off for 1 hour of bouldering (you can shower on site after the session if you wish - in this case, please bring your personal belongings)
- Lunch break at the centre's restaurant (approx. 1 hour) with vegetarian menu (meat menu available on request)
- Return journey by bike to Porto's Ribeira district (approx. 45 minutes)
- Return of the bikes and end of the activity around 2.30 p.m.

You need to be in good physical condition to take part in this activity, but no previous climbing experience is required.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
A minimum of 2 participants is required to run this activity.
