One hour and a half from Porto we find the Arouca Geopark a geological park of great importance especially for the pedras parideiras de Castanheira, the giant trilobites of Canelas and the ichnofossils of Vale do Paiva recognised as geological heritage by UNESCO in 2009. An adventure activity that involves exploring rivers or streams through a combination of techniques, such as walking, water walking, climbing, rope descent maneuvers such as rappelling and slides, toboggans and jumping into the water (always optional)... Always accompanied by experienced and certified guides, you will be able to visit places that are accessible to few, recording every moment far away from all the noise of city life and very close to the fauna and flora of the river. The canyoning lasts around 6 hours and everyone older than 10 years and a bit fit is welcomed to joint this canyoning down the Rio Teixeira.
