Overnight Dog sledding Expedition in Varanger near Nesseby

Enjoy an overnight mushing expedition in the great Varangerhalvøya National Park with Nanouak Dogsledding Norway!

The expedition takes place in the Varangerhalvøya National Park, at the border with the Taiga, Tundra and Arctic coast.

You arrive at Nesseby at the end of the day. Your guide picks you up and drives you to your chalet where a welcome party awaits you, as well as a meal. You then spend your first night and try the suit, boots and mittens that you are going to use during your raid.

The raid starts the next day in the morning. Before leaving, the equipment is charged in the sleds. When everything is ready, you go toward a chalet located at 25 to 30km away.

We leave in the late morning to reach the cabin for the evening, lost in the taiga to spend the night or have a trapper's meal waiting for you by the fire, with perhaps the chance to see the dancing Northern Lights in the sky. The next morning, we set off for a beautiful day of sledding, crossing the taiga and tundra! We'll make a brief stop for a small lunch before returning to the kennel for the end of the day.

At the end of your tour, you go back to the base in the afternoon. You take off the harness of the dogs, bring them to their kennel and unload the equipment. It's time to say goodbye to your dogs!

You then arrive at the chalet from your first night and have dinner with the group. The next day, you are taken to the bus stop or the airport.
