Your adventure begins at the meeting point in Skrova, where you and your group (a maximum of 10 participants) will be greeted by your experienced instructor. After a safety and itinerary briefing, you will receive your dry suit and life jacket. Then, your instructor will give an introduction to sea kayaking and paddling techniques. Now, the fun starts! In the company of your guide, you will set out into the frigid Arctic waters, admiring the breathtaking scenery as you paddle. Don't forget to keep an eye out for wildlife, the majestic sea eagle is well-known in this area! At the end of your outing in Lofoten's winter wonderland, you'll return to the original departure point in Skrova with memories that will last a lifetime!

Please be advised that all participants must know how to swim.
In addition, please make sure to dress according to the weather and wear several layers of warm clothing in the autumn and winter months.
Cotton clothing is not recommended, because when it gets wet it wicks the heat from your body and takes a long time to dry.
Ferries are free for pedestrians and run during the morning and afternoon from Svolvær. We recommend parking your car in the free parking lot just next to the ferry harbour in Svolvaer before boarding the ferry. The meeting point is then situated very close to the harbour on Skrova Island.
Please note that all participants use double kayaks during this excursion. You will therefore be sharing with another person (if alone, this may be the guide).
