Proving that exploring out of season never disappoints, summit Pulpit Rock on this snowshoeing experience in Lysefjord. Transformed into a winter wilderness and closed to the public - travel with an experienced guide along the contours of this icy mountain ridge - reaching one of the world's most spectacular viewing platforms over the black fjord below!
We pick you up at your location you chose when booking. Note that drop-off location, upon return, will be the same as pickup location.
Estimated pickup would be 7:00-7:15AM from your accommodation. Be ready 5 minutes before estimated pick up time in front of your hotel.
You will be driven to the other side of the fjord to Preikestolen Lodge, our starting point for the hike. The hike up will take us between 2 and 3 hours. Once at Pulpit Rock we will spend some time enjoying the view, the beautiful nature and most likely taking photos. The hike back will likely also take 2 to 3 hours, and expect to arrive back in Stavanger around 03:00-04:00 PM.

Depending on weather, snow and ice conditions, the trail may become slippery in some of the more demanding areas. We provide crampons if the conditions requires it. Some hiking experience is desirable, but not mandatory.
