If you are looking for an authentic adrenaline-inducing winter sport that snowkiting is the way to go! Snowkiting is kitesurfing's winter cousin. In this sport, you'll use a kite to harness the power of the wind to help you get traction and glide over the snow as you have a snowboard strapped to your feet.
Bratt Friluftsliv offers you a weekend learning snowkiting, perfect if you seeking a unique snowboarding experience. The beautiful setting of the high mountain terrain of Myklevatn will be the background as you learn to control the wind during your visit Brokkestøylen.
The course will last two days. You'll meet on Saturday morning and learn the basics: setting up your equipment, how to control the kite, position on the board, among other skill. Then you'll take a break to the chill-out and to enjoy a specially prepared local menu at Brokkestøylen. The following day, you'll continue from 10 am. to 3 pm.
To take part in this course you only need good notions of snowboarding!
