The spot
Essaouira is located about 2h30 drive from Agadir and Marrakech . The city is friendly and the locals very welcoming, enough to enrich your stay.

The bay of Essaouira is a good spot for kitesurfing, it offers safe sailing conditions because the wind comes in from the side most of the time. The spot also benefits from a rather choppy water, ideal for freeriding and learning. By big swell, the bay of Essaouira is used as a fallback spot when there are too many waves on the rest of the coast. The spot is easily accessible.

The area also offers wave spots for experienced riders, including Sidi Kaouki 25 kms south of Essaouira, and Moulay Bouzerktoun 25 kms to the north.
