Courmayeur is situated in the Italian Alps and is popular with advanced and expert skiers due to its vast off-piste opportunities served by lifts from Cresta d'Arp (2755m) and Punta Helbronner (3466m). Links to Chamonix and Verbier enable skiers to venture further afield, using the Mont Blanc Unlimited lift pass across 3 countries.

Organised based on group ability and experience, backcountry skiing excursions in Courmayeur use local lifts to access Cresta d'Arp on the south face of the Mont Blanc Massif. Itineraries will include some walking to access more scenic routes - but all trips can be modified to cater to beginners and advanced skiers alike.
