4x4 Glacier and Lava Caves Tour near Reykjavik

Iceland Rovers will pick you up at your Reykjavík hotel accommodation between 8:30 and 8:50 am. Once you hop in the Super Jeep, you will be on your way to Pingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site of the ancient Viking parliament dating back to the 10th century. From here, the 4x4 Jeep will veer off the beaten path into the highlands. You will be driven through the mountain pass of Kaldidalur to Langjökull for a breathtaking view of this enormous glacier. Iceland Rover’s 4x4 Jeeps will take you on top of the glacier, an experience only such vehicles can provide!

Next you will head to the Hallmundarhraun lava field where you will explore Iceland’s biggest and most spectacular caves with a headlamp. From Hallmundarhraun you will head to the unusual Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls where you will see one of the world’s largest hot springs.
